Fancy getting into shape this summer?

Framlingham Flyers Running Club will be offering  “Beginners Guide to Running” sessions during May, June and July 2017.

We aim to provide a safe, friendly introduction to running. The course will be held in a traffic-free environment and will be led by qualified coaches who can offer a range of practical advice and expertise to all participants.  Additional support will also be provided by some members of Framlingham Flyers, several of whom completed the 2016 course and are now seasoned runners.

The next course will begin on Monday 8th May 2017 at 6.00p.m but there will be NO session on Monday 29th May.  

As mentioned, the first night will be 8th May, between 6.00 & 7.00 p.m.   The other dates are: May 15th & 22nd, 5th June, 12th, 19th & 26th, 3rd July & 10th.   The 10th and final evening will be on 17th July which should be the last 5k handicap race when the ‘Beginners’ should all take part so start time will be the same as club night (7.00).

Each session will be 1 hour long and is open to anyone aged 16 and over. The course is based at Framlingham Sports Club, Badingham Road, IP13 9HS, and will run for 10 weeks at a cost of £1 per person per session.

Our aim is to give you the confidence and ability to complete a 5km (3 mile) event by the end of the 10 weeks.
